Rangers collapse came because guys like Chermiti, Aasgaard, Fernandez, Gassama, Moore, Meghoma, Djiga, Chukwani etc could not be relied upon to step and perform at the business end of the season when the pressure was on. A squad full of loans and project players.

@GR_7_Bear @PremSportsTV @mstewart_23 @sbk Why isn’t it a Rangers issue? If Shanklands handball goal against you hadn’t stood would it have changed the outcome of the match? It’s an everyone issue

Complete cop out. Shameful.
SPFL@spfl

SPFL Statement "Firstly, we send our congratulations to Celtic on winning the William Hill Premiership in the most exciting of circumstances and send our commiserations to everyone at Heart of Midlothian following an incredible campaign. “We would also like to thank the referee and his excellent team of match officials for their cool heads on such a dramatic day. Given the speculation about the conclusion of the game, we would like to make clear that, prior to awarding the trophy, we were informed by the match referee that the match had ended and had not been abandoned. "Yesterday’s match showed off the very best of the Scottish game and the drama and excitement that it is rightly famed for. The eyes of the world were on Glasgow and the climax of the William Hill Premiership, with millions of viewers watching the match on Sky Sports and across the globe. "However, we utterly condemn the scenes which saw a number of Celtic supporters encroach onto the field of play. We await the report of our match delegate regarding any specific incidents that took place but, regardless, supporters entering the field of play in any circumstances is wholly unacceptable and puts those participating and working at a match at risk. We note that entering the pitch in England and Wales has been a criminal offence since 1991. We urge anyone with information about any alleged criminal activity to contact Police Scotland."

@alfie_t8 This might surprise you BUT outwith Glasgow, wider Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Republic . . .people are able to follow football with no interest in or connection to religion. Crazy but true!

I was at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh for the game and at the full time whistle we all walked to Tynecastle to welcome home our team. The Hearts fans showed their class in defeat and were a credit to our club and our city. This is only the beginning ♥️ #Hearts

The abuse from Celtic fans since they won the title has been off the wall. I just block or ignore these buffoons, so it’s water off a duck’s back. I do wonder, though, how these cyber freaks would have reacted had they lost the league. If this is them happy…👀

@dwbh67 @ArRobbo71 I'm sure that made sense, and was ever so funny in your head. Sadly for you, it would've been best kept there. Best to keep quiet when people think you're an idiot, rather than say something to confirm it.

@spfl Lies and cover up. The week where Scottish football fell. It is now looked upon, by the rest of the football world, in the same light as Greek, Turkish, Russian and Italian football in terms of honesty and integrity.

@GavNewlandsSCO It would be a shame if sporting integrity was to be maintained? How very strange, as it was the watch word not so long ago. Also, not so long ago "rules are rules" was the phrase many held firm.

Not that it would have made any difference but that’s nonsense. For all the refereeing and VAR issues folk have understandably been annoyed about, Don was very good today. It would be a shame if he was to be dragged down with this BS.
John McGinley@jhnmcgnly

Despite rumours circulating online, referee Don Robertson informed SPFL delegates that the final whistle was blown in Celtic's title decider. It's understood that the match official confirmed to SPFL officials that the match was not abandoned. ➡️ celticway.co.uk/news/26113246.…

@DougstarFF The politicians, media and wider civic society have indeed been complicit, due to their fear of being branded sectarian bigots if they challenge the club and fan behaviour. Their lack of action is now coming home to roost. We've seen them for years, they're now in plain view.

@BarryAnderson_ Remember assaults on players was simply "over exuberance" and laughed off when it was Rangers players on the receiving end. Perhaps if hatred hadn't got in the way and it was taken more seriously then, we wouldn't still be witnessing these things.

Police Scotland are investigating potential assaults on Hearts players at Celtic Park. Tynecastle officials are calling for action from the Scottish football authorities. Unacceptable violence and hostility at the end of the Scottish Premiership season. edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football…

@Blueprint_Bear You're correct, they are out of control and they are so because their behaviour has been tolerated due to authorities fear of challenging it. That fear comes from a sinister age da of making them perma victims and anyone who speaks out is branded sectarian anti catholic/Irish.

A Club and fan base utterly out of control. The sense of entitlement is now so deeply embedded in their collective psyche that when things do finally go against them, the scenes will likely be far, far worse than this.
Matthew Lindsay@MattLindsayHT

Ugly scenes at the end of Celtic v Hearts at Parkhead today. Several Hearts players were accosted by Celtic fans during an injury-time pitch invasion. We have been here before in Scottish football this season. Could this not have been prevented? Full updates in @heraldscotland
