This is such a rewarding and worthy project. The transformation in reading culture is amazing, even operating out of a 6x2 container. Imagine when we have our new container fitted out and can offer a community service!

@JanSta8 @01Ne010 @Nom_Ngcobo @JackDevero @Mtamerri Find a way to make a real difference, DO IT, don't expect to receive congratulations for this, its not extraordinary, it's just necessary and right. And then you will feel like you belong and you won't have to pressurise black people to tell you it's fine. That's my take on it...

@ZZikbuch @Mizz_Emm @zachleshine @JackDevero of course here's the paradox: if lockdown saves lives with few deaths then we say it was an overreaction and the economy suffered the most. But i shudder when I hear American politicians say well we have died in wars too, so we should just accept the deaths and get on with it...

@Mizz_Emm @zachleshine @JackDevero There has to be a balancing act. If you can pay 1000 dollars to citizens like the US did, then keep the lockdown in place. 350 rands a month is barely living and consequently, the lockdown isn't sustainable in the long run. The economy indirectly sustains lives.
