@benfreeburg @indievc Let’s keep in mind, no business doing $10mm / yr in rev is paying a 3x RBF cap. Especially if we’re talking ARR, it would be a fraction of the cost.

@indievc It works for companies w stable and growing rev. Rev at $10MM a year, loan is paid off in 3 years ($833k/mo in rev * 5% = $41.7k/mo * 36 mo =$1.5MM). And that doesn't assume any growth in revenue. More growth, quicker payoff & no equity dilution

At 5% revenue share, a company who raises $500k needs to generate $30M in revenue to hit a 3x cap. Raising $1M? That'll be $60M to 3x. Wonder how many people are really doing this math 🤔
