Due to inclement weather, all gardens, cemeteries, lakes, and Gillespie Golf Course will remain closed Tuesday, February 3. All other Parks and Rec facilities, recreation centers, active adult centers, Sportsplex, and regional parks will open 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday, February 3.

SERVICE ALERT Greensboro Parks and Recreation has developed new recreation center operational hours to accommodate reductions in the City of Greensboro’s adopted FY25-26 budget. New hours go into effect Tuesday, 9/2. Updated hours can be viewed at tinyurl.com/GSORecCenters.

CANCELED Due to extreme high temperatures, humidity, and projected heat index exceeding 105°, Makers Way at Gateway, scheduled for Sunday, July 27, is being canceled out of an abundance of caution and concern for everyone’s safety. The event is rescheduled for April 12, 2026.
