The participants included Union Minister for State for Finance Shri @mppchaudhary, Chief Ministers of Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and Odisha; Deputy Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana; Governor of Manipur; the Finance Ministers of States/UTs, besides Secretary of Department of Revenue, Chairman and Members of @cbic_india and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance @FinMinIndia.

The 56th Meeting of the GST Council will be held on 03rd & 04th September, 2025 at New Delhi

The #GST Council approves rates reductions on the following four items: ♦️Uncooked, unfried & extruded snack palettes brought down from 18 to 5 % ♦️Fish soluble paste brought down from 18 to 5% ♦️LD slag to be at par with blast furnace slag. It has been changed from 18 to 5%
