After 4 years in writing, and 1.8 years in peer review, our work on porosity was just published in @ScienceMagazine.
This paper has a rich life-story by now, which I will tell later. Right now, we're just happy :)

When I read/hear researchers being proud of the cover pages in journals, I think what is hidden behind all this... Vanity! Well funded lab "burn" funds for cover figures. $3k to $5k paid to publishers for each cover page. Please use your funds to support poor students instead...
