Xbox website has now updated to say “Rating Pending likely mature 17+” when a few hours ago it said ctc, which was a temporary rating. This line’s up with the emails PlayStation / Sony was sending to ps4 players to tell them to upgrade to ps5 console before GTA 6 launch

If GTA 6 launches at midnight local time in every country, New Zealand would get it first. This is how long each region would be waiting for it to unlock...

@GTAVI_intel Walmart might have reservations, but that's not related to that link; that link works with any word.

Walmart has a link to their website for pre orders for GTA 6, which is new due to the “no information being available” But when you enter it doesn’t show anything and only show other options for games.

@GTAVI_intel It's just a link that opens the Walmart website's search engine.

The ctc is a temporary rating for a game when it hasn’t received its final rating even though PlayStation emails that were sent out showed 17+. Xbox app shows 18+

Xbox website updated potentially to say “not available separately” for GTA 6 meaning obviously that there will be bundles/ versions of the game. Is this in preparation for Pre orders that potentially go live later today? Plus ctc thing at the bottom seems new.

@rockstationonx Yep, that why next week seem perfect for them to launch trailer 3 with pre orders so people can have enough time to save money for either a copy of the game or even a console plus the game, because it would suck for fans not being able to afford it in time for launch

@GTAVI_intel Three months just isn’t long enough is it?

Tom Henderson did say he believes the GTA 6 marketing might not start until around the August earnings call. It’s entirely possible but I just don’t see it happening. This is completely my opinion, but why would they start the marketing as summer is nearly coming to an end? That would only give them around 3 months to stack up the pre-orders. Some people need time to save to afford the game and 3 months seems like quite a short window to build up pre-orders for the biggest game of all time. Especially when it’s estimated they have spent between 1 and $3 billion making it. They are definitely going to want to capitalise as as much as as possible and I think a 6 month pre-order window would be a great way to do that. Just to clarify, Tom did say it’s his opinion and is not backed up by any insider information.
