Also King the only one who seemed interested in eating the baby is a Titan and not a witch. Belos’s fear of the titans couple he justified but not of witches

La fin de The Boys et les commentaires des gauchistes démontrent qu'ils n'ont jamais compris ce qu'était la série. Le méchant des deux premières saisons c'était Vought, pas Homelander. Le ressort narratif des deux premières saisons était le ménage à trois entre Homelander (et dans une moindre mesure les 7 en général), Vought et les boys, et c'était pour ça que les droitards aimaient Homelander : personne ne s'identifiait sérieusement à lui, et absolument tout le monde avait conscience depuis la scène du crash d'avion qu'il pouvait être une pourriture. Mais c'était encore, dans les deux premières saisons, une sorte de créature Frankensteinienne, ambivalente, avec ses moments de gloire et certains traits qui suscitaient de la sympathie : - Une certaine lucidité / du dégout sur l'immense machine Marketing mise en place par Vought et sur la bêtise des masses. - Un côté anarchiste avec le rejet de tout ce verbiage et de tout ce marketing corporate à la con, tout ce jargon publicitaire, l'hypocrisie des stratégies de com mises en place sur l'intégration des minorités, des handicapés etc. - Le ressort narratif classique du personnage torturé à cause d'une blessure originelle (ici le fait d'avoir été élevé en laboratoire, l'absence de parents) qui pouvait expliquer certains des pires traits du personnage et son besoin compulsif d'attention et d'amour, et créer, sinon de l'adhésion, au moins une certaine sympathie. - La paternité et l'idée de la rédemption par le fils, là encore trope classique mais efficace, qui a été abandonné au profit d'un "papa est trop méchant je suis contre lui". - Contrairement à la plupart des autres super-héros qui étaient des dégénérés notoires se vautrant dans la basse jouissance et les plaisirs que permettaient leurs super-pouvoirs (je vous rappelle que la série commence par la mort de la copine de Huguie explosée par A-Train sous composé V), Homelander était "clean" et ses vices étaient plutôt liés à ses blessures psychologiques, sa violence était rarement gratuite et/ou involontaire dans les deux premières saisons, il y avait souvent des enjeux derrière. Tout ça a été balancé à la poubelle à partir de la saison 3, et surtout de la saison 4, pour que ces handicapés puissent avoir leur petite série crotte-de-nez contre Trump. Vought (et l'idée d'un système entier fondé sur la corruption, le pouvoir, le marketing, l'inclusivité hypocrite) disparait comme menace, les autres super-héros, qui étaient également des pourritures à l'origine, ont droit à leur petite rédemption comme si de rien n'était, et Homelander est juste un vilain fachiste narcissique et traumatisé. Les mecs ont transformé le "personnage", avec la complexité que ça impliquait par un symbole (olol il ouvre des campas de concentration appelé freedom camps c tellemen le novlangue et les fake news) pour pouvoir jouir de le détruire dans la saison 5, comme de bons gros bourrins bouffis d'idéologie. C'est un peu l'impasse gauchiste qu'on retrouve systématiquement dans ce genre de récits : ils arrivent parfaitement à concevoir des antagonistes complexes, intéressants et subtils au début, mais comme ils ont la mentalité politique d'un enfant de 7 ans colérique, il leur est impossible de maintenir comme antagoniste un personnage bien écrit (toutes proportions gardées), donc ils détruisent le personnage et ce qu'il représente, pour qu'il ne soit plus qu'un symbole du mal, sans la moindre subtilité. Une fois cela fait et une fois que les gens normaux s'en plaignent, ils débarquent sur leurs gros sabots en disant "OLOL MAIS TAVAIS RIEN KOMPRI A LA SERIE QUE TU REGARDAIS, IL AVAIT TOUJOURS ETE MECHANT" Personne ne nie que Homelander ait toujours été méchant, sombre fils de pute gauchiste débile, ce qu'on t'explique, c'est qu'avant, il n'était pas "juste" méchant, que ce n'était pas la seule chose qu'il incarnait dans le récit, et que c'est précisément pour cette raison qu'il était apprécié. On aurait pu avoir une conclusion qui faisait du populisme autoritaire et de la démocratie inclusive progressiste, deux conséquences directes de la destruction des médiations traditionnelles par les grandes corporations et leurs quêtes de profit : Vought comme structure fondamentalement amorale qui par son scientisme corporatif prive de père des enfants et qui ce faisant créer des monstres, puis qui défend hypocritement une politique d'inclusivité et de séduction des minorités qui n'est qu'une stratégie marketing. ça aurait été beaucoup plus fort d'avoir un Homelander qui se rend compte que s'il continue à rester dans la vie de son fils, il le transformera en monstre, comme lui, et qui, constatant que son fils est déjà en train de devenir bouffi de haine et de volonté de revanche, accepte de se sacrifier en se laissant tuer par les boys ? Voir le personnage renoncer un instant à son narcissisme, à son complexe de Dieu, par amour pour son fils, renoncer au côté obscur pour lui ? Non, à la place on a Homelander à genoux qui pleure et propose à Butcher de lui sucer la bite, parce que les impuissants qui rédigent la série croient qu'il est une poupée Vaudou de Trump.
