We’re humbled and grateful for a truly historic gift. 💛 John W. Durstine, ME 1957, has left a $100M bequest — the largest in Georgia Tech history — to support faculty and academic excellence in the Woodruff School. His legacy will shape generations of Yellow Jackets. 🐝

1⃣ year in, Tech’s AI Makerspace is growing into a student-led model for ethical, interdisciplinary AI exploration. Alumna Sophia Velastegui called it “a pioneering model” and ME major Rahul Gupta says the goal is to make the space accessible to all. bit.ly/44kjYvI

The @GeorgiaTech Capstone Design Expo had some impressive tech! An interdisciplinary team of biomedical engineering and computer science students developed a Vein Insertion Simulator (VIS) to help better train nurses who do IV insertions on newborns. Congrats to the MissionMannequin team! Also, check out the Dolphin ChatBOT Sub, a mini-submarine helping researchers understand dolphin communication.
