Mick Antoniw the Senedd Member for Pontypridd and Taff Ely is retiring soon, so in the last of our series of in depth chats with him from 7-8pm tonight Terry Mann will be asking about his 15 years of public service, the issues he feels are most important today and future plans.

The Worlds biggest cycling event is coming to Wales in July next year! What's more the first ever Cymru stage of the Tour De France running from Welshpool to Cardiff will weave its way through RCT towns and mountain routes giving local people a birds eye view.

An Amber Warning for heavy rain has been issued by the Met Office for South and South West Wales including RCT. It comes into effect at 3am until 9pm tomorrow night and warns that very heavy rain could cause flooding and disruption to travel. Stay tuned for the latest info

Natural Resources Wales has just issued a Flood Warning for the River Cynon at Hirwaun. Flood warnings mean flooding to property is expected. The rain is due to mostly clear this afternoon but river levels may rise for a while

Good news! The flood alerts have been lifted for all our main local rivers by Natural Resources Wales.

Just a reminder the Met Office has issued an Amber weather warning for heavy rain across South Wales from midnight tonight for a 24 hour period. Strong winds are likely too. Expect difficult driving conditions with flooding possible, especially tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates.
