🚨BREAKING: ICE agents just illegally broke into another home without a judicial warrant, this time in Jersey city. Witnesses say they followed a man who ran inside a house, and instead of stopping there… they forced their way in. They reportedly broke in the door, without showing a warrant, had no clear legal justification to enter the home, and they still couldn’t detain the person. And once again, this is a blatant constitutional violation. The Fourth Amendment is not complicated… The home is supposed to be the most protected space in the country. Warrantless entry is supposed to be the exception, not something that happens because someone ran inside. “Chasing someone” does not automatically erase constitutional limits. And then, local police show up… say they didn’t know about a warrant, and were seen shaking hands with the federal agents afterward. That just shows you how normal this is becoming… ICE agents just violated the Constitution… broke into a home... And instead of anyone being held accountable, and facing consequences you or I would absolutely face for something like that… police show up and shake their hands. We’re watching “emergency justification” slowly turn into standard practice… and once that happens, constitutional protections stop meaning anything.

🚨TSA agents aren’t getting paid because Republicans want to keep letting ICE agents violate the Constitution. Democrats just want these basic conditions attached to the DHS funding bill: 1. Judicial warrants before entering homes 2. Agents unmasked, or wear ID & body cameras 3. Limits near sensitive location like schools & hospitals ICE agents are wandering airports unmasked, wearing ID, and still working… So, number 2 clearly isn’t the issue. That means… Republicans are letting TSA go unpaid, making you wait in long lines… just so they can break into homes without a judicial warrant, and keep targeting schools and churches. Republicans are punishing working Americans… because Democrats are trying to uphold the Constitution.

Dylan López Contreras, a student at Ellis Prep Academy in the Bronx, a public school exclusively for students who recently arrived in the U.S., was trafficked by ICE after attending a routine immigration court hearing. He hadn’t committed a crime, posed no threat, and was following the law. Yet, ICE locked him up anyway. He was only released because advocates, lawyers, and lawmakers refused to stay silent. Without that pressure, ICE would have continued to traffic him, profiting off his incarceration, while his life and education were stolen. And, as no surprise, Dylan’s constitutional rights were violated… due process was denied, access to judicial review restricted, and his asylum claim mishandled… all so he could help fill beds. Dylan is free now, which is a relief. But his release doesn’t erase the stolen months, the trauma inflicted, or the countless others trapped by the same system. Every community deserves leaders and institutions that protect human rights… not leaders who line the pockets of donors. Because ICE isn’t separating families, or detaining students, out of necessity… they are doing it for profit.
