Tempted to start a petition to only allow shouts if you use a pitch-level dugout camera mod. If you want the players to hear you scream at them during a match, getting to watch the action from a top of the upper tier angle is surely just cheating. Let's go full realism.

@DoctorBenjy @theoldzealand @WorkTheSpace @lollujo I might be in the minority, but I'm genuinely loving the new game - tactics and match engine are engaging me more than ever before and helping me overlook some of what's missing. To what extent has more time with the game given you a more positive view of it (or otherwise)?

7 matches into my main #FM26 save and loving every second. ❌ Not a DoF challenge. ✅ Leagues I've never played in before. ✅ An absurd story to keep me moving. ✅ Copious references to giant robots and alien dinosaurs. 🎬 I'm feeling the video urge again, and I like it.

@GB32_ That'll come in time. I want them to pay for my coaching badges first before we go spending extra on anyone else!

@GTSKirk Go for it. All it is mechanically is a max wage available per job, but in Staff board requests, you can ask for more budget for specific jobs if the people you're targeting are asking for more than you can pay.

So on #FM26 I've noticed that hiring staff doesn't impact my available wage budget at all, only signing players does. I don't necessarily mind, but it feels like a bit of cheat so is this A) a bug B) the same as every other game and I just somehow never noticed before?

@GTSKirk Yeah that's normal dude. It's like a pretend budget that doesn't exist, but does.

@GTSKirk Staff wages have never really been accounted for up front. It’s more of the realism that you can’t bring a coach from the premier down to the national league - but they’ve never been there.

@lollujo Well deserved, this series is great. (And, say it quietly, I actually think the game is too...)
