@Tidgney @thegranturismo The "same team" rule isn't even applied. Twitchy/Jeesh lost their points in the 2024 season when Twitchy slowed to let Jeesh overtake him, both were on dstinct. Seeing what's happened in the @thegranturismo GTWS today is just sad. I don't agree with it at all to be honest as there has and always will be talks of people going again for a round. Rule 6 which is what is discussed is not even possible to police fairly. How do you know if someones in the same team or not? A nickname, or PSN account name does not determine a team. So you can help team mates, and not friends? What if you have a "Secret" team or "Private" team with a friend? What about a senior and junior team? Does the private team now have to be public? So many things are missed with this rule. Arguably I'm one of the reasons why that rule exists.. But it's not 100% thought through at all. Quite often in racing people "let" people go when they could fight. Is that manipulation? Choosing not to overtake someone because its a risk.. is that a manipulation? @antonioSK20 had a DR reset during this (Yes I follow GTWS still even though I don't play it at all) and still fought back. That's quite an achievement to do and well played for qualifying! It's been amazing to see how fast you are now and definitely deserved that spot. The GTWS has always had problems, I've always fought with a passion to fight the problems and help solve them by making videos etc. I stopped competing/playing it it because I never saw change and the time investment wasn't worth it even in a casual sense. I couldn't support something that remains broken without fundamental fixes. I love Gran Turismo and I love the idea of the GTWS. But it needs fundamental changes, you can't accomodate everything but it's trying to do that (E.g. 1 shot vs 3 shots, limited time slots vs many in lower leagues, professional vs casual etc.). I do hope it improves as I say I love the idea of the GTWS and I loved competing and experiencing the event so I hope others get to experience it as I did. While I still try in the background to push for improvements, I stopped making videos on it as it was nearly the same video each year. This is why Antonio got points removed, wtf are you doing @thegranturismo are you for real, this needs reversing and all The drivers should be voicing this, banter in streams asking him to race again is not a reason to remove points, absolutely stupid decision by PD, honestly reverse this now.
