I can’t believe people are getting mad about their fellow students talking about the injustices and micro aggressions they face on campus. You’d rather have the account post the same tired study abroad pics?

@Drew_Sace @ineffable_j @redHumanist the fact that they even have to exist at these schools, is proof that they were needed in the first place.

Had a professor give me an Incomplete in a course I definitely finished. Refused to respond to my emails even 2 weeks into the next semester. Submitted a grievance. Only then did she respond to say I never did my final presentation...which I'd done. In front of the whole class.

was on the green route one time using markers to make a sketched storyboard when one of my markers rolled out my lap and a couple rows in front of me. A nbpoc saw the marker roll by her, looked back, looked me in the eye, then didn't bother to pass it back. yes it was intentional

@GTStudents idk who needs to hear this but happy hour at city tap on peachtree you can get 1/2 off sangrias and w your buzzcard you get an extra 1/2 off sangrias too so 4-6 m-f you can get $3 sangrias, i graduated in spring so would like to share this knowledge

@acaropolo The point here is that it’s the right of those students to speak in native languages, but they should be aware of the way it can alienate peers.

@GTStudents If they’re saying that it’s discrimination to have a class taught in all English, I don’t agree with that, but POC (and anyone who’s native language isn’t English!) absolutely have the right to have a study group with people who speak their native language without judgement!
