@DaniLMebius The G-Drive ev ATC has a 3 year warranty. You can get a replacement for your ATC case by creating an RMA here: www2.hgst.com/warranty/index… The case has its own serial number, it is on the back side of the case.

@GTech_Support again the cable is not working anymore on my G Drive ev ATC. Please advice

@GTechnologyEUR @Lord_Bird Hi @Lord_Bird to access files over your LAN, you would have to set it up in the Sharing Preferences in your System Preferences. Enable File Sharing and computers on your LAN should be able to access files on your G-Speed Studio through your Mac

@BKMeditor @GTechStorage You can reformat to exFAT and should work fine, or you can keep as HFS+ and use a utility such as MacDrive or HFS+ For Mac on the Windows side so that they can read/write Mac volumes

@adaminspired Hi Adam, it is not necessary, and if you are going to use them on non High Sierra systems, it is best that you don't convert as they will only be readable on High Sierra

@joeybarrus @GTechStorage Hi Joey, it sounds like normal drive activity. After copying data to a drive the computer will start journaling and you will hear activity

@joeybarrus @GTechStorage That noise is perfectly normal. It is just drive activity. The drives perform regular self checks.

@tty007 You don't need to have an extra drive for when you have a failure, the Raid1 can be rebuilt, and if a drive is bad we can replace it free
