Recently, someone came to my home with a ‘lucrative’ deal that involved investing more than a billion as a partner. After a discussion that lasted an hour, I escorted him out of the house leading to the parking lot. I asked whether he now has a driver & was dropped off. “No, came by boda”. The deal smells bad air.

A senior lawyer friend once told me about a deal he had gotten with Indian clients which bounced partly because he arrived at the meeting point in a car that didn't please them That they judged his ability to handle the transaction effectively basing on the type of the car! Wow!
