i’m rlly not a fan of this wording because yall are speaking about her like she has no agency over her own work and michael controlled the narrative. all she said was that after she recorded PC, she felt like that’s the direction the album should go and he *suggested* to keep to her original idea which was to blend genres.

reminder that ‘MAYHEM’ was originally titled ‘Perfect Celebrity’ and midway Gaga wanted it to be a full electro-grunge pop record before her fiance told her to not do that and keep the current version of MAYHEM.
