Since launching our Whole Blood Program in May 2025, Greenville County EMS has now administered whole blood to our 50th patient. This life-saving treatment is making a real difference in our community. We are proud of our dedicated staff and partners who make this possible.

As you shelter in place: Remember fire safety. We've responded to generator misuse, carbon monoxide exposures, space heater incidents. Tips: Keep heaters 3ft from flammables, never leave unattended, ensure CO detectors installed/tested. No indoor generators!

A shelter is now open at Clearview Baptist Church, located at 5611 State Park Rd, Travelers Rest, SC. A pet shelter trailer is available for residents staying at the shelter. Pets may be brought by owners sheltering on site; but pets may not be left without their owner present.

County Crews are seeing the refreeze. Please use caution on secondary roads especially those in the Northern areas of the County.
