On 28th May 2026, I visited Moryani Conservation Group in Kilifi North, led by Juma Kazungu. We held a session on strategic planning and farm lay out. It was a chance for Green World Campaign Kenya to assess community impact directly from the people. #sustainabledevelopment

We visited Furaha Mwangani Group in Kwale County, where members are strengthening food security through vegetable farming and SILC savings initiatives. Despite water scarcity challenges, the group remains committed to climate-smart solutions like sack gardening.

We visited Bofu Dam Farmers Group in Kwale County. Despite heavy rains, the group continues strengthening livelihoods through vegetable farming, tree nurseries and weekly chama meetings. Inspiring community resilience in action

On May 21st, we visited Mtumizi Development Group in Likoni, Kwale County. They shared how an imposed fish-farming project drained their savings without training or support. At Green World Campaign Kenya, we co-create community-led regenerative solutions for lasting impact.

Visited Kaya Mtswakara in Kwale for a group audit session with Kaya forest protectors practicing farming & tree nursery establishment. Despite owning 7 water tanks, they rely on rainfall. Together, we’re co-designing community-led solutions for food security & climate resilience.

On 21st, we visited Neema SHG. The group is farming on a small plot where crops are already planted, and they plan to lease 1 acre farm. We reflected on past nursery challenges and worked on strengthening their strategic plan to include their ideas and support long-term growth.

On 21st May, we visited Furaha Self Help Group and saw how smallholder farmers are using agroforestry to strengthen food security, soil health, and environmental conservation through cassava, moringa, vegetables, indigenous trees, and other crops.

We visited Chonyi One S.H.G. in Kwale County. Their vegetable nursery washed away by rain, yet they’re replanting with courage. Challenges remain: water scarcity, livestock encroachment, reliance on rainfed farming. Yet they stay resilient through it all. #buildingresilience

As we approach International bee day, at Green World Campaign Kenya we take time to appreciate the smallest unit that contributes to our vision of creating a regenerative food and water catchment systems. Together we stand to celebrate World bee day.#internationalbeeday

Visited Timboni Environment Group in Kilifi for an Monitoring &Evaluation exercise on their community-led project. From kitchen gardens to mangrove restoration, members are driving sustainable change together.

Upendo Vijiweni Women Group in Takaungu shows the power of community action. 32 members working together in farming & mangrove conservation protecting their environment and livelihoods. Built on unity, shared responsibility & inclusive leadership, they’re becoming resilience.

On 13th May, our Field Extension Officer Shanga Mbuli visited Uwezo S.H.G in Kilifi County to facilitate a peer-to-peer session on climate-smart agriculture. They learned about Zai Pits, Sunken Beds, and organic soil regeneration using natural materials. #climatesmartagriculture

We led Soyo Soyo Self-Help Group through farm layout — from garden prep to seedling transfer. We facilitated strategic planning, revisiting gaps and assigning the group to draft a clearer, more detailed strategic plan. Also our Takaungu Oil Press.

Yesterday we visited Dziwo Self Help Group in Kwale County for an M&E exercise on their community-led projects. Encouraging to see a clear shift—farmers moving from maize to sorghum and strengthening poultry enterprises as part of building resilient livelihoods.

BEES & ECOSYSTEMS 1 in 3 bites of food you eat exists because of bees. We support local beekeeping and hence food security from the ground up Bees are life. Let's protect them.
