@ctrlaltglitchtv Yup. Having priority going into turn 6 as a Destroy player is usually very bad. Cosmo removes that fear of disaster and now puts you back in control
English

@GWFlashX I don't see a lot of tech used in Destroy decks especially if you want to preserve cards like Muse and Knull from a surprise Shang-Chi or Shadow King when you have prio. Cosmo makes perfect sense as a surprise factor because it's something people won't expect in a destroy deck.
English

Some of you, be prepared to get mad. I've learned a lot with this. It's that a lot of you don't understand how deck building works. Some of you also lack the creative thought to think outside the box. I understand for a lot of you Snap is your first "card game", but wow.

First thing, Muse is a good card. Fits into a range of destroy packages nicely. I wanna be clear on this, Cosmo in the classic Destroy shell is the best way to play classic Destroy until further notice. Period. Classic Destroy is a 'small ball' deck and Cosmo loves those shells.
English

@BlackBoyWitch THIS right here!! Say it louder for the people in the back please.
English

@GWFlashX Honestly, for Destroy you need at least one tech card of some flavor to avoid massive blowouts. People still don’t expect tech in Destroy, so not only do you have the flex tech to stop an auto loss, but the subversion of expectations means you kinda win 4/8 cubes for free.
English

@JonElliot11 Correct. And that's card games in general. I play Magic as well. And yeah, building a 60 card deck which includes your mana base is not easy to do from scratch. But lord, Snap is 12 cards with no mana. Like, this isn't rocket science.
English

He's right. The vibe there is like "don't use this card because my fav steamer doesn't use it" 😂😂
People are so used to netdecking that they don't even know how to build a normal deck.

@MastarPuppet_HS Yes. You may not agree with the inclusion. But you understand why it makes sense.
English

@GWFlashX Ok sorry man. I was low key confused. Yeah, the people who just comment that it wont work (when it clearly does) definitely dont hit infinite
English

@MastarPuppet_HS Oh, this isn't about you. I thought you'd assume I didn't mean you. You contextually understand the logic. A lot of people don't.
English

@GWFlashX Just because we don't agree doesnt mean its closed mindedness.
English

@MastarPuppet_HS But moreso, I take issue with people that just can't fathom this as an option. Which has nothing to do with Cosmo in destroy. I just don't like closed mindedness.
English

@GWFlashX Numbers in this respect don't highlight only the cosmo change but the deck as a whole and always have to take into account variance in the fact that youre an experienced destroy player with good instincts. My end argument is that it ultimately boils down to suprise factor.
English

@MastarPuppet_HS Ahh, see now I'm with you. Good players can play around a lot of things. But I will contend yet still, that having Cosmo here specifically, gives Destroy an element to dig out wins that it can't do otherwise. Given the current meta, this is the best version of classic destroy imo
English

@wollie1979 Sure it does. It's a tech card, which Destroy has room for. Just like Cosmo in those small Move decks.
English

@MastarPuppet_HS That's the thing. You're generally not playing Cosmo on turn 3. Again, the numbers speak for themselves ultimately.
English

@GWFlashX I can see cosmos uses for sure, but I honestly feel that in a traditional destroy package the curve is way too important for value. Cosmo may offset some of that, but on 3 if you dont destroy something or on 6 have to play cosmo and muse you are missing too much potential
English

@SpicyDragon90 @interrobange EVER. Like, what are we doing here? Guess we have to suffer a little bit longer until we get a real nerf.
English

@ThunderDomeGam1 But I feel like, gun to my head, the answer is Doom. Because without Doom, there's arguably no Quake. And arguably who knows how the long the genre takes to get going if not for Doom simply existing in that timeline.
English

@ThunderDomeGam1 Trick question, the answer is both. Carmack was involved with both games. Doom is the Godfather, it set the path. Quake multiplayer set the path for that and there's a reason the 'Quake Engine' became a thing. FPS gaming is a big question mark without BOTH of these games equally.
English

@SuperTechGod @ParryManilow @ItsGuestGaming @its_loopyfist @WhiteWayneBrady Like I said. And in true Dotemu fashion, the next DLC will have a game mode that adds that long term replayability. Just like Streets of Rage 4 and Shredder's Revenge. Can I take my victory lap now orrrrr nah? 🤣
