@nhlpens I'm pretty sure the same can be said of the Pens when they were gifted Crosby. This is coming from a fan of neither the Islanders nor the Leafs.

Someone definitely has to do some investigating with this new NHL draft lottery because that's the 2nd year in a row where a team who has been put in a massive hole with their future, a team who's directionless, gets gifted the 1st overall pick. At least it's not predictable so that's fun for us fans.
