Enforcing equal opportunity is fair, promotes hard work, productivity, rewards excellence. Enforcing equal outcome is unfair, promotes sloth, laziness, unproductivity. This is what the Postmodern Left gets wrong. It wants everyone to have equal outcomes regardless of merit.
