Once you assume that there will be any number of people picking blue, then the choice is no longer just about you. You can call the people who pick blue anything you like: young, elderly, foolish, naive, mentally handicapped, etc. It will never change that you risk their lives.

@hangry_muppet @treyton8402 You just proved that blue has chances of losing. Red cannot lose. If 50% pick blue, red still lives. The creator even stated. They are to pick. Meaning they will pick at some point. Don't let an undeployed brain be the reason you die. That just sounds stupid.

@GabrielRay78957 @treyton8402 I can, but I'm not gambling my children's lives. If it's 1 child then it's 50/50, with 2 it's 75% chance of death and so on. Since its world population, hundreds of millions of kids face certain death if red wins. The vast majority can infer this, that's why blue always wins

@cremieuxrecueil The pole itself doesnt validate IQ at all. Its not a pattern based question. Its not a moral question. Its an optional question based on your being of life. If everyone pick either one we all live. So why not pick red knowing that if even 1 person didnt pick blue you'd all die?

@hangry_muppet @treyton8402 They are not at any more risk then they are living a with either choice. That is life 101. No matter what you do, you will have a 50/50 chance at making it. Once you get to a particular age then it all changes. Its dependent on you to be able to survive alone. Can you?

@OttoBerlandieri Why do you call it selfish to want to live? That's not selfish, that's self preservation. I don't rely on anyone to feed me. I hunt forge for a lot of my food. Blue forces you to rely on others while Red doesn't. Don't rely on others, be the best you alone!

People who push the red button are the same kind of people who would hide they were bit by a zombie. Not exactly, but It's selfish preservation that condemns others to die for no reason if they successfully hide it. Its a direct choice to that. Blue means NOBODY loses. It goes to show how so many people would gladly pick something that benefits themselves at the loss of others over the SAME benefit to everyone, including themselves. For many reasons, distrust your fellow man will make the same choice, "I got mine" mentality, or just instinctual self preservation, etc.. Its a social morality experiment, there is no "right answer" but what you pick says alot about you.

But if a majority choose red, everyone else dies. Non-pressers (babies) will die if and only if red wins
