wanted to give a quick update on the trades i shared earlier.
closed 2 out of the earlier 3 positions already:
> HYPE short (3x)
closed at +34% unlock sentiment + market volatility played out exactly how i expected.
> XAU long (6x)
gold was barely moving, so i just closed it early at 6% and rotated the capital.
low volatility + my low leverage = slow trade.
> BTC long (3x)
this is the one i’m still holding. it’s currently around -12%, but i’m not stressed, i counter-traded the dump with a separate BTC 6x long at 84k and hit +30%, so that already covered the loss.
overall i’m basically breakeven on the idea.
i’m still holding the main BTC position because i’m expecting a move toward 91-95k to flip it green.
im not rushing on this, just sticking to the plan.
right now it’s more about me learning how to build a framework, understanding positioning, and trading w/o emotions.
might start increasing position size (not leverage) to build better volume for points on @ostium, and maybe add some volume on @reya_xyz as well while learning.
will keep dropping updates if anyone’s following the process.

took three positions on ostium today sharing the reasoning behind them (not financial advice btw, just documenting my learning process). 1. BTC → 3× long btc flushed to 88k earlier and bounced back to ~91k. after that kind of wipeout, market often gives a relief move so i’m positioning for that. i put my stop loss at 50%, take profit at 50%. i don't mind taking that much hit as i believe market hasn't topped. 2. HYPE → 3× short hype has a major unlock coming on the 29th, that's this month. im not an expert but unlocks usually create volatility and short-term downward pressure so i’m shorting into that. tp at 50%, sl at 25%. expecting traders to price it in early. 3. XAU (gold) → 6× long not an asset i normally trade, so i used grok to analyze sentiment + macro context. gold doesn’t move like crypto, but i think there’s some room to catch a slight upward move with controlled leverage. i set tp/sl both at 50%. overall, i’m experimenting on a few things, learning, and building a framework for how i think about positioning also picking up some tips from my fren @Glacier_eth_ just training myself not to trade with emotions if the logic is wrong, i learn. if it plays out, even better. @ostium is one of the perp dex im using to learn how to trade on @arbitrum, i also use variational. ive had only good experience on both. and id recommend them for anyone good with perps or trying to learn like me.
