Today, we remembered our friend, teacher and mentor @BenArnetKOMU. Ben has been a rock for me professionally. But an even better friend. It was a tremendous honor to speak about his impact as a mentor and friend. I owe all my success to Ben and I’ll never forget him. Ever.

Mizzou Football dedicated its week one mini movie to the late and truly great KOMU Sports Director Ben Arnet, who tragically passed away on the day of the game. Arnet also worked for Mizzou Athletics for nearly a decade. @RockMNation @KOMUsports

Thursday, we lost our good friend, teacher and mentor Ben Arnet. 24 hours later, dozens of his current and former students and colleagues returned to the football field to do what he taught us to do best. Ben’s legacy lives on and is present around the nation🤍

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Ben’s family & friends. He touched a lot of lives at Mizzou & in Columbia – as a professor, an anchor at KOMU and a friendly face on SECN+ broadcasts. He has helped our program tremendously and will certainly be missed. komu.com/news/ben-arnet…
