@RandomCricketP1 Can’t pretend I haven’t been seeking out RWT Key b Martyn 47 though (Perth 2002).

Symonds bowling at 130 kmph and breaking through the defence of the batter. On that note, what's the fastest you saw you favorite dibbly dobbly medium pacer bowl?

@JamieMagill5 Yup because warmups would have been tea and a fag and so McGrath would never have stepped on that ball.

Would Australia have won The Ashes in 2005 with Shane Warne as skipper? 🏏⚱️🤔

@RandomCricketP1 Feel like Dharmesena bowled one at about 89mph but probably a fever dream. Marnus quite sharp. The true dibbly by definition can’t break 80 though, surely.

@jamiepersonaI Yes - bar for people to nod wisely, say x played well is madly low. Bethell rightly got props but mainly because a calm, well-paced, technically sound hundred is so outlandish. Malan got one last time against much better bowling, and rather than lauded was soon out of the team!

@TheMiddleStump The Bradman view is based on Bill O’Reilly’s views I assume. May or may not reflect truth. Or do you have other reasons to believe it? Jardine probably was an alright bloke. Doesn’t mean what he did was right

Twitter can be a cesspit or it.can be educational. Today I have learned that Jardine was an alright bloke and Bradman viewed Catholics in a similar fashion to Rev Ian Paisley.

@bobbydugnutt111 Love bracey but that wouldn’t be fair on him. Payne would be interesting but honestly I think he’d hesitate and will focus on white ball commitments and opportunities.

@bbctms @stephanshemilt You should take this down it’s as meaningful as giving me a rating (9/10 by the way, I would have been excellent). Feels vindictive and there’s no rationale.

@DPJHodges You might be right but they know that if they drop him he’d need to break the habit of a lifetime to get back in by weight of runs. His FC average is basically the same as his test number 31.98 v 31.18. As has been noted, whatever the level, he doesn’t get runs.
