Today's Word - Sodden: dull or expressionless especially from continued indulgence in alcoholic beverages. Torpid, sluggish; Heavy with or as if with moisture or water. Heavy or doughy because of imperfect cooking. Mom made a loaf of bread that ended up sodden.

Today's Word - Resuscitate: Revive from apparent death or from unconsciousness; Come to, Revive; Revitalize. When Billy fell off his bike and cracked his head on the cement, we had to resuscitate him quickly to make sure he was not hurt worse.

Today's Word - Comestible: Edible. Looking at the numerous choices of food this Thanksgiving, I avoid thinking of calories since everything is comestible and I can't resist.

Today'a Word - Logy: Sluggish, groggy. After the elaborate buffet that Fred and his wife served, Jay moved his logy body to the living room and wished he'd used common sense when it came to selecting the many selections he chose to eat.
