Still very much thinking back on this... Through my love of UTAU, Rei Nintone, and Nintendo as a whole, I can't help but feel a little nostalgic on a project that meant so much to me...

At the end of Rei's premiere, I thought to add a timeline consisting of some of her older covers over the fanfare you get when you finish Adventure Mode in Melee! I thought it was sweet, so I wanted to isolate the video for ya'll to see here! Incredible... #ReiNintone

I worked slowly, taking time outside of both of my jobs to sit down and come up with something, ANYTHING! I was adamant not to let work burn me out. This was for Rei, after all! Seeing it becoming more and more tangible by the day driven me further into wanting to complete it.

There were many, MANY bumps along the way when I made this, especially on the technical side. There were a good couple of times I thought to shelve it indefinitely… but I persevered thanks to my friends! I’m very thankful to have such treasured people to come and cheer me on!

This animation was years in the making. I remember attempting years ago on a single shot of the PV, but was too overwhelmed and promptly shelved it. I’m proud to say that I’ve brought it back some time later, and completed it. I’m quite proud!
