Yesterday, The Postmaster General/CEO of Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), Omotola Odeyemi, paid a strategic visit to Galaxy Backbone Limited to explore partnerships in cloud services, data hosting, and digital infrastructure. Welcomed by GBB’s MD/CEO, Prof. Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, discussions focused on supporting the newly approved GIS-enabled digital postcode system by the Federal Executive Council; a major step toward modernizing Nigeria’s national addressing infrastructure. Yesterday, the Management of Galaxy Backbone Limited, led by our Managing Director/CEO, engaged with the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly of Nigeria in a constructive session focused on accountability, transparency, and strengthening the role of digital infrastructure in public sector service delivery. It was a valuable opportunity to share insights on our work in advancing government digital transformation and to reinforce our commitment to responsible stewardship in service of Nigeria’s public sector.

Yesterday, our Executive Director, Digital Exploration and Technical Services, Olumbe Akinkugbe, led a joint meeting with teams from @FMCIDENigeria , representatives of the Finland Government, called, Gofore and @Galaxybackbone . The teams are continuing ongoing conversations around aimed at advancing Government Data Exchange (GDX) frameworks to strengthen digital governance and public service delivery in Nigeria.
