FOUND ON THE STREETS‼️ This friendly girl was found on the streets in Almeria suffering an itchy skin condition 😬❤️ No chip. We need to treat her skin immediately and she’s chewing away. It’s driving her crazy . Let’s give her a nice name🙏🏻❤️ What do you think? A huge thanks to everyone involved in her rescue and for bringing her to GDS ❤️

SORBET ANYONE 😍 Sorbet is a 6yr old terrified Galga. She’s not been here long but we know she’ll do much better in a home. Will you share as her family is out there 🙏🏻❤️

MEET ZUESS ‼️ This lovely new boy arrived recently ❤️ He had been adopted from another charity but then was given up. The other charity asked if we could help as they had no room to take him back. Zuess is just a young boy around 2-3 years old and he will needing a new home … this time a forever home 🫶🏻 Isn’t he handsome 😍

ADOPTED CENIZA ‼️ Great news everyone. Ceniza got adopted shortly after arriving ❤️ She’s gone to live locally here in Spain and has a fantastic mummy who says it’s been a dream to adopt a galgo 🥰♥️ Ceniza was handed in at 9yrs old and often the older ones get left behind so this is just delightful she got adopted so fast 💕 Who agrees the oldies are wonderful? 🫶🏻

RIVER 😍 River is still weak and very thin but doesn’t that munching sound give you hope? ❤️🙏🏻

SHIVERS STOPPED SHIVERING ❤️ Shivers arrived over a year ago and was really frighten. She would shiver constantly and hide away. Now look… she’s no longer shivering with fear but shivering with excitement. She’s 5yrs old and now it’s time she must get a home! Please share ❤️🙏🏻

SIX TO NEW HOMES 🏠 Wow, did left for new homes to Canada 🍁 They gone thanks to L’arche de BriNoé - Adoption internationale de lévriers de ho work tirelessly to find new families. This group of dogs have mainly been overlooked. Barnaby was in the Toledo perrera for years. What a great feeling he’s one of the lucky ones now. Who else left? Teenybob ♥️ Sillero ‼️ Barnaby ♥️ Kitty 🐈‍⬛ Argos 🙌🏼 Wimbledon 💕 Huge thanks to All4dogs for taking them direction the airport. These trips are alot of work, money and time. Worth it tho ❤️🫶🏻.. oh and who can spot the new supervisor? Watching our every move 😂

OREO NEEDS YOU‼️ Oreo has been here 18mths now and he’s just not improving at all. Simple case of… he needs out of the shelter. He’s 5yrs old, gentle but very scared and now doesn’t even want to come on walks. Who can be a hero to this wonderful boy Oreo? 🙏🏻❤️

REST IN PEACE ABUELA 🕊️ 🌈 Today we lost our lovely Abuela. Abuela was rescued 2 years ago at 13.5yrs old. She had been taken away by the police after they found her being kept in bad conditions. She had cancer and was the perfect addition to the retirement home. She came with all sorts of behavioral issues, mainly resource guarding but in time she figured out nobody else cared 🙄 and was relaxed enough to let it go. She was always very bossy, always squaring up to Hankie, it was a love hate thing I’m sure because whilst they would be grumpy with each other they would often cuddle at night. Abuela had several tumors removed to give her more time but today we discovered she was drowning in her own lungs due to another tumor. It was time to say goodnight. It’s been an honor to let her live out the last few years on a sofa, being cheeky and forgetting her terrible past. Whilst my eyes are leaking, my heart is full. She was part of a family, she was loved and that we must celebrate. Another oldie had a dignified end and that’s why I love the retirement home. More people should take an oldie, train away the pain when you lose them and learn to celebrate. It’s not easy but without us giving them this chance their last years will be so different. Fly high Abuela, you don’t need wings, your ears are big enough to take you over the bridge 🌈. We love you and thank you for letting us be on your journey 🌸🩷💕

GOOD NEWS 🗞️ Mum Wobbles got adopted locally yesterday. She’s now going to live with a wee furry teckel who for sure might be a little bit bossy 😂 Her new family are excited to share time together experiencing new adventures and also at their holiday home in La Manga 🫶🏻 Have a great life Wobbles 🌸♥️

RIVER ‼️ River is doing much better now and we are hoping for a full recovery soon 🩷🌸 She’s still in hospital but I’m sure by the end of the weekend she’ll be back 🙌🏼🫶🏻
