Here is additional footage of UPS Flight 2976's final moments, captured by a security camera from a passenger gate at Louisville Airport on November 4. The MD-11F barely reached an altitude of about 30 feet before the left engine and pylon tore away from the wing. The aircraft immediately lost lift, crashed beyond the runway, and erupted into a massive fireball as it struck several buildings. Fourteen people were killed - including all three crewmembers - and 23 others on the ground were injured. This footage captures just how sudden and catastrophic the structural failure was!
