I’m an older millennial. We had a pretty great run. We grew up with actual childhoods before everything moved online, but we still got the internet early enough to understand it before it took over everything. We had landlines, AIM, mall culture, good music, and just enough technology to make life fun without making it weird. Old enough to remember life before smartphones. Young enough to adapt to all of it. That was a sweet spot.

If your father or mother is above 67, please pause and read this slowly. At that age, life begins to feel different for them. The world moves faster, but their bodies move slower. The things they once did effortlessly now require effort. Their strength is not what it used to be, and even if they don’t say it, they feel it. What they need now is not pressure. Not stress. Not arguments about money or past mistakes. They need stability. They need reassurance. They need to feel safe. If they have savings, protect it. This is not the stage for risky investments or “let’s try this opportunity.” It is the stage for preservation. Capital safety matters more than high returns. Peace of mind matters more than profit. If they depend on you financially, don’t see it as a burden. See it as a privilege. The same hands that once carried you are now weaker. The same voices that defended you now speak softer. Support them with dignity, not pity. And beyond money, give them something deeper. Call them without being in a hurry. Sit with them without checking your phone every two minutes. Let them repeat stories you’ve heard before. One day, you will wish to hear those stories again. At 67 and above, what they truly fear is not death. It is loneliness. It is feeling forgotten. Take care of their health. Help them organize their documents. Make sure they are not being financially manipulated. Protect them from stress. But most importantly, protect their heart. Because one day, the chair they sit on will be empty. And no amount of money will buy back one more conversation.

the reason why you have to move away from your hometown or your parent’s house in order to achieve a great amount of success is because you cannot really figure out who you are meant to be in an environment that produced the version of yourself that you are trying to outgrow…

NEW: 13-year-old Australian boy swims for four hours in cold and dangerous waters to save his mom and siblings who were swept into the ocean, says God is who got him to shore. The family was on kayaks & paddleboards when they were swept about 2.5 miles out to sea. After a conversation with his mother, Austin Appelbee decided he would swim back to shore to find help. Appelbee says he prayed throughout the four-hour swim and told God he would get baptized if he made it out alive. "I don't think it was actually me [swimming]... It was God the whole time. I kept on praying, kept on praying. I said to God, 'I'll get baptized.'" "The waves are massive, and I have no life jacket on… I just kept thinking 'just keep swimming, just keep swimming,'" he said. "And then I finally made it to shore, and I hit the bottom of the beach, and I just collapsed." Appelbee says when he got to shore, he had to sprint for about a mile to find help. According to AP, the family drifted 9 miles from Quindalup and spent 10 hours in the water. When he reached the shore, Appelbee alerted authorities, who then sent out a helicopter to find his mom, 12-year-old brother, and 8-year-old sister. Austin's mother, Joanne Appelbee, said one of the hardest decisions of her life was sending her son to shore. "One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make was to say to Austin: 'Try and get to shore and get some help. This could get really serious really quickly,'" she said. What a remarkable kid. Marriage is not all happiness and love, ask married men; - some of them sleep on couches - Some of them go weeks without sex - Some of them don't talk even to their wives for days - some don't eat in their homes; they eat in hotels and come home to sleep. - Some sit in their cars for a couple of minutes before walking in the house because there is no peace The house is yours, but you don't want to be there anymore, the woman you once admired and loved has now become a thorn in the flesh for you. Most men hold onto marriages because of kids. That's I always tell men, take your time, don't marry out of loneliness, don't marry because others are doing it, don't marry because of beauty and curves, just marry when you find a good woman who respects and listens to you even when she is mad at you. STAY GUIDED!!

I'm at a weird place in life. My younger self was way more social and kept in touch with people I love. My current self is super introverted and don't really talk to people I love a lot but I still love them though. People probably be thinking ion fuck with them or I'm mad at them or something but that's not the case. I just be at peace when I'm closed off. I can interact on social media and shit because it's through a screen and I still have that space to be introverted but outside of social media I'm super closed off and don't even understand why myself. Maybe one day I'll come out of this shit or maybe not but It's all love either way.

After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don’t correct them harshly. Don’t rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, quietly wrapped as love.
