Over the last three days, over 80 security hardening PRs got merged across three different Percolator repos. All from external contributors who showed up, read the codebase, and started shipping. This is what pre audit preparation looks like in practice. It’s not just the core team tightening things up internally -> community members finding gaps and closing them before an external firm ever opens the repo. That kind of contribution matters more than most people realise. Percolator is open source for a reason. The code is public, the repos are live, and the people who want to build real things show up. To our favorite fan! First, get your facts straight. Drift wasn't exploited through their vAMM or their JIT model. Their vault was drained through unauthorized asset transfers. On chain data shows a dozen asset types pulled from the main vault in a burst. That's an access control failure, not a pricing mechanism exploit. The vAMM didn't "get exploited." The vault did. Second, "users losing money on winning positions right now." We just audited the wallet that made this claim. He opened three 5x longs, the price moved against him, he closed them himself. Every close was self initiated from his own wallet. Zero liquidations. $106 in, $32.85 out. That's not mispricing. That's leveraged trading. Third, PERK has no bridge. No cross chain dependencies. No shared vault architecture. Every market is isolated. The attack vector that hit Drift today does not exist in our protocol. We don't have a $270M vault sitting behind a single access point because we don't pool assets across markets. Fourth, Percolator is code on GitHub that nobody has shipped to mainnet with real money. Composable matchers are interesting on paper. We have 69 live markets processing real trades right now. We're not following anyone's blueprint. We're live, we're secure, and we spent last week running 35 audit agents against our own engine plus pentesting every Solana perps protocol we could find. Percolator is audit ready. 516 Kani formal proofs; multiple full internal security passes, all critical mainnet blockers resolved. The risk engine, oracle, liquidation paths, and fee mechanics are all formally verified. We have done the work before handing it to an external firm. We are now in active conversations with people we trust: including the pumpfun team and a number of outside investment groups. Nothing in regards to that to announce yet, but the right doors are open and the right people have been paying attention and reached out. While those conversations progress, we are not slowing down. The team is still shipping, still hardening, still tightening every surface before an auditor opens the codebase.
