@GameRoll_ Great track record of some of the greatest games ever made. It's why I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt.
With that said a lot can change in 8 years and we've seen that with countless studios.
I can't see them failing but I also don't see a reason to blindly trust.

I wouldn't call it marketing.
I would call it a social experiment to see how much money people will spend without knowing what they are actually getting.

Okay this is getting ridiculous. GTA 5’s real world marketing (billboards) didn’t start popping up until August 2013. That’s ONE month before launch.
We are currently over FOUR months away from GTA 6’s release. Yes, no Trailer 3/new base game info is disappointing. But cmon.

GTA 6 marketing has been a disaster... GTA 6 is supposed to be THE biggest entertainment release of all time, yet the marketing feels almost nonexistent. I know GTA 6 can sell itself, but come on... a game this massive deserves a legendary worldwide marketing campaign. Rockstar needs to wake up and start making this release actually FEEL historic. With GTA V, Rockstar went ALL OUT... massive billboards in cities around the world, buses, buildings, stores, posters everywhere. You could literally feel that the biggest game in history was coming.

Dan Houser & Lazlow left. That’s it. Rockstar is the same studio with the same thousands of developers.
Michael Unsworth, Rupert Humphries, Aaron Garbut, Sam Houser, I could go on and on about the OG talent that they still have. Well over half of the devs who worked on GTA 6 also worked on GTA 4 and that’s going back 18 years lmao.

@GameRoll_ @ALegendaryDrops The Witcher 3 had the vast majority of its issues fixed within 2 weeks of launch. Was the Witcher 3 pulled from stores? Did they offer unconditional refunds for it? It’s laughable to even compare them.

And a much bigger and more detailed map, more side activities, ground breaking customisation for the franchise, the character switching/multi protagonist system, I could go on and on.
GTA 5 is technically the most impressive game in the franchise, they just took compromises in areas like physics and car damage
