Before Mario Maker 2 was announced I made Amiibo costumes for fun. Unfortunately Amiibo Costumes were removed, but I still keep making costumes because I love doing it. So far I've made 400 costumes, and I'm always open to character requests. #SuperMarioMaker2 #SuperMario

@spragels Hydreigon is just a strong rare candy Pokemon. An Darkrai decks are manageable if you have status recovery. I say Lucky Ice Pop is the worse because it gets too many consecutive heads. It's strange because Pocket has plenty of coin flip cards that don't hit Heads as often.

@Stealth40k We actually have a really great Yoshi's Island successor. It's called Yoshi's Wolly World. Why it hasn't gotten a Switch port yet, is still a mystery to me.

Everyone keeps hoping for a really good Yoshi's Island inspired game, but I'm fine with Yoshi platformers going in a different direction. Yoshi and the Mysterious Books seems like a 2D platformer, puzzle, exploration amalgamation that could be quite interesting.

@JoshuaTookes I don't remember if there was a scene showing they left it behind on the planet. They theoretically could retcon that the dinosaur went with them on comet observatory and we just didn't see it. So in the third movie the fully grown T-Rex is Rosalina's pet on the observatory.

It would be funny if that little baby dinosaur actually did tag along with the main group

@Stealth40k To be fair. Would Star Fox surprise anyone after the Mario Movie. An I feel like Ocarina remake rumours have been floating around for a while. While surprise is nice. There's also a surprise of game play & content. Which mostly doesn't leak from Nintendo.

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have all had their problems with leaks of major 1st party games. I don't think much can be done. Certainly if it's all true, Nintendo isn't happy people know about Star Fox, the Ocarina of Time Remake or 3D Mario.

@Stealth40k I mean that's nice and all. But does Nintendo's GOTY contender besides Zelda, really get any screen time at the Game Awards. Most of the time they get their awards in the pre show or the off stage awards. But I guess there will be Pokemon music in the orchestra, so that's cool.

Game Freak (and Koei Tecmo) being invited to the Game Awards with a Pokemon GOTY contender isn’t what anyone expected a month ago, but it’s very possible now.

@Stealth40k Also with Pokemon Pokopia being a huge sales and critic success. Switch 2 already has a system seller this year, so we can wait a bit before the next major announcement. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if we get more stuff like a Fire Emblem direct before June as well.

I don't think there is going to be a main Nintendo Direct until June. Not a surprising prediction, but Switch 2's year 1 lineup feels pretty much set in stone at this point.

@TheNCSmaster To be fair. In recent Gens they actually give the Trainer Pokemon a more diverse movepool. So your more likely to take super effective damage compared to a trainer with 3 Nidorans. It's more an issue of EXP Share over levelling and trainers only having 2 Pokemon on their team.

I’m convinced the “Pokémon was always easy you were just a kid” talking point is bullshit Playing Fire Red it isn’t super difficult but it’s at least pushing back a bit, stuff SwSh fell to pieces if I sneezed too hard

@Schaffrillas I always thought a fun idea for an episode/finale would be them returning to Brazil. With the twist that they plan the vacation properly learning from their mistakes. With the episode just being the Smiling Friends enjoying their vacation, with no real conflict.

@Stealth40k @aomu Ok. The "What's your favourite" super bowl ad makes a lot more sense. The fact that their might be 1000+ anniversary logos is insane.

At Shinjuku Station in Japan, there are Pokemon logos as far as the eye can see! It appears that most (if not all Pokemon) have their own 30th anniversary logo. Pictures: @aomu

@Stealth40k I would like to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe situation where we get a Switch 2 expansion that can sustain the whole generation. But instead of adding new characters it mostly adds new modes like a Smash Run successor with online play & bringing back Trophies.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently #1 on the Switch eShop. What Nintendo does with Smash Bros. on Switch 2 is perhaps the biggest unanswered question so far.

@RealGodzly It should simply have you flip a coin for an extra 20 hp restored and then discard it. Would still make the card useful while avoiding six coin flips per turn.

I’ve never called for an emergency nerf before - BUT this card needs to change.

@UniteVids I think a cool feature would be a free bonus wonder pick every ten packs opened on a specific pack. Where it takes five random Pokemon ex or 1 star art from the set as a bonus wonder pick. An after 100 packs they give you a special one time 2 star wonder pick.

@Stealth40k I really think we don't give enough credit to how many game genres Nintendo has successfully put Mario in. We got 2D & 3D Platformers, Rpgs, Racing, Sports, and Puzzle games. That's not even counting the spin off games like Luigi Mansion and Donkey Kong.

Thoughts: - Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside Story is way too low. - Games that don't belong on this list: Mario Hoops 3 on 3, Super Mario Run and Dr. Mario. - Games that do belong on this list: Super Mario Maker 2, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Mario + Luigi Dream Team. - I respect Super Mario World at #1. I would've been fine with Odyssey or Galaxy 2 as well.

@Stealth40k Funny enough at the 2017 Game Awards. Mario Odyssey only won Best Family Game as well. Actually excluding Mario Kart and the Mario + Rabbid crossover games. 2D & 3D Mario games only win Best Family Game, and mostly only get nominated for that category as well.

Donkey Kong Bananza didn't win Game of the Year at the Game Awards, but a case can be made that over the last 20 years, EPD Production Group No. 8's output is as good as anybody's. @Stealth40k I mean Nintendo needs to do around 3 big Nintendo Directs per year, with all of them needing big first party announcements. It really doesn't make sense to announce something like Luigi's Mansion 4 at the Game Awards.

Unless something drastically changes, I don't see Nintendo making new game announcements at the Game Awards. They'd rather make Nintendo Directs special, not any other event.

@RealGodzly Mega Pidgeot actually looks quite decent on paper for a promo EX. Especially since llima can prevent it from being KO. Also Mega Pinser really got the short end of stick compared to the other Megas. Feels like a worse Alolan Exeggutor.
