شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در پیامی که روز جمعه ۱۲ دیماه در شبکه اجتماعی اکس منتشر شده، شجاعت معترضان در ایران را تحسین کرد.
در پیام او آمده است: «هممیهنان شریف و شجاعم، درود بر شما که دلیرانه در سراسر ایران ایستادهاید؛ از لرستان، چهارمحالوبختیاری، و اصفهان تا کرمانشاه، ایلام و خوزستان؛ از فارس، همدان و زنجان، تا مرکزی، قم، و تهران؛ از قزوین و البرز و گیلان، تا مازندران، و خراسان و هرمزگان. شما در حال تاریخسازی هستید؛ تاریخی که با شجاعت، همبستگی و اراده یک ملت برای بازپسگیری کشورش نوشته میشود.»
او در بخشی از پیام خود یاد قربانیان اعتراضهای اخیر را گرامی داشت و افزود: « دلاورانی که در دو روز گذشته به دست این رژیم به قتل رسیدهاند، قهرمانان راستین این سرزمیناند. نام و یادشان برای همیشه در حافظه ملی ما زنده خواهد ماند.»
رضا پهلوی در ادامه پیام خود گفت: «از همه هممیهنان میخواهم یاد تکتک جاویدنامان این خیزش ملی را نهتنها در شهر و دیار خود، بلکه در سراسر ایران و جهان گرامی بدارند؛ تا نشان دهیم راه و هدفشان، راه و هدف همه ماست و تا روز آزادی ایران ادامه خواهد داشت.»
