@GGalactigal The entierty of the star festival scene is perfect in that regards, they nailed it. And when the star bits start raining down and they let you just take in all of the atmosphere, god I wish the rest of the movie was like that scene lol.

one unanimously good thing, a diamond in the (very) rough of the mario movie is the little interactions between mario, luigi, and yoshi, or mario and peach. those were *great*. i want a thousand more of those.

Movement isn't bad in the sense that it's unplayable but it's very clearly downgraded compared to its predecessors

@Zhane_Star I really enjoyed the first half, but then once they go to space it falls a part as a Galaxy movie. Like I’d hardly say anything it does is Galaxy related outside of the intro, space, some powerups, and 2 planets. Decent as a Mario Movie 2, but awful as a Galaxy adaptation.

Seeing mario fans react to genuine criticism in such a horrible was to the point of antagonizing someone's child for simply not being interested in the movie is so embarrassing to see.
