@InvincibleVS Sudden Death is a not a good thing to have in Ranked mode. If I've kept all 3 of my characters alive during the course of the match why penalize me? Let the player with more total health left be the winner.

imo, no other Zelda game has ever really topped Link to the Past. It locked in the entire feel of what Zelda games are. As much as I love some of the 3D ones, they don’t distill quite as pure.

At this point, unless Light No Fire drops this year, Crimson Desert will be my GOTY. I just don't see anything else dropping that will top it.

So if you deposit a bunch of gold bars suddenly in Crimson Desert, the kingdom’s equivalent of the IRS catches up with you and makes you pay a fee on it. This is the type of granular game dev I love.

@CrimsonDesert_ First off your game, absolutely rocks! My only major complaint is the Stealing system. Are you addressing this? Killing bandits and stealing from their cabins shouldn't negatively impact your rep, also stealing and not being seen shouldn't as well.

Crimson Desert has its hooks in me bad! I can stop thinking about playing it.

@Professorbroman I think the issue is that there is also ranked being weekends only. Two times exclusive things is rough

Cryo only available on the weekends is an interesting gameplay loop test Weekdays: gather gear and prep for the weekend Weekend: spend all your gear in ranked and Cryo It’ll be fun to see how it feels long term

All the mixed reviews for Crimson Desert really shows the developer made the game they wanted. They didn't play it safe and make a game for everyone or follow the standard AAA playbook or yellow paint, hold my hand games of today. Is it perfect, far from it, but I'm digging it.

Classic games. EA really should have continued this series.

Watched a video on YT regarding Crimson Desert last night. The video stated that the game has ZERO hand-holding. That immediately explained to me several of the major gaming sites low reviews. I'm even more excited now.
