Who do you relate to more? 🤔 Most educators aren’t struggling because they don’t care, they’re struggling because traditional methods don’t connect anymore. When learning feels relevant, attendance improves, confidence grows, and students actually show up ready to learn. Follow for plug-and-play ways to turn gaming into real engagement, and tag or share this with a fellow educator who needs it. #education #studentengagement #teachingtips

Every school should hear this idea 👇 🎮 Use Video Games as a learning curve! Let me explain 👇 👉 Students aren’t playing games in class. What we’re teaching here is guided reflection, getting students to talk through the choices, strategies, and teamwork they used outside the classroom so teachers can connect it to communication, problem-solving, and literacy. 👉 Guided reflections boost engagement fast. When students explain something they actually understand, they practice sequencing, clarity, vocabulary, and speaking skills without shutting down. 👉 This method improves mental health too. Schools using Gaming Concepts with Mental Health Moments showed measurable gains in student self-esteem in just one semester, especially in high-risk groups: +12.7% increase for female students +7.01% increase for male students +14.7% increase for Black students +9.03% increase for Hispanic students +39.2% increase for LGBTQ+ students 👉 It works for grades 3-12. Younger students reflect on simple choices and teamwork. Older students dig into decision-making, cause and effect, communication, and perspective. 👉 Teachers love this because it’s practical. No extra prep, no extra tech, just a better way to connect classroom skills to a world students already understand. Follow for more K-12 strategies that make your students engaged, confident, and easier to reach! #educationtips #teacherlife #educatortraining #professionaldevelopment #k12education
