This enables us to offer builders a really affordable BVM-compatible Bitcoin L3 chain solution. We think that $99/month would be a reasonable price point for a developer to launch their own Bitcoin L3 (Appchain) and deploy their dapp on Bitcoin. It typically takes an army of cryptographers, distributed system engineers, and PhD researchers and massive funding of $100M or more to launch a blockchain. Now you can launch your own blockchain with BVM for $99 a month. ETA: Week 2 3/ BVM CREDITS FOR STARTUPS BVM is EVM equivalent, so you can build dapps on Bitcoin L3 without learning a new toolkit. If you already have an existing Ethereum dapp, simply point to your Bitcoin L3 endpoints when you deploy.
