@sad13 So if Spotify just became profitable, after 10 years(?) as a comp, then what do u do? Maybe raise the price of subscriptions to pay artists more? Ppl used to buy 2-3 CD’s a month, $30+ on 3 bands. Now $30 for *everything* is too much? It’s not just the stream companies then, ya?

@sad13 Not to mention, you talk about it and promote it because people, including even just your friends take you a little bit more seriously when they see some big place has taken an interest in what you’re doing. I get it tho (but note, Spotify just got into the black this year).

@sad13 I mean this is easy to say as a successful band, isn’t it? When it’s the time you’ve gotten the most people ever listening to your music, and hopefully digging it and checking out more, that’s an awesome thing any way you cut it. Why wouldn’t you talk about it?
