Ofc there is always a game being played on CT. Still, by definition, if you're playing Kaito's game, you're not playing the game that will maximize your long-term reputation, network, smart following, etc. The actually smart people see right through other people doing stuff just for incentives compared to real curiosity, motivation, etc. If you're a young professional in the space and want to work here for many years, I recommend ignoring these artificial games. Don't yap, but instead write insightful stuff, engage in good faith, and be helpful to others. Most of all, you need to put in the work. It helps to know how the algorithm works, but over adapting to it will make a hollow shell of a person. These techniques have worked on social media for the last 20 years, but they have actually little to do with the medium. They are the fundamentals of human networking, and that's why they'll always work.
