Soooooooo I’ve received two different HS coaching job offers within the last 72 hours and I guess I’m weighing my options here … I don’t know if I want to be a HC (even I’m socially aware enough to know my approach will piss off a lot of parents, which I don’t care about) or I can be a DB coach somewhere established and have 100% confidence in getting these safeties right because we will know how to tackle and be cerebral pre snap! In 2021, I was fired from my alma mater. That was a very tough situation to deal with. I’ve been knocked down many times in my career as a player and as a coach. This one hit differently. I chose to pick myself up and keep working. Bet on myself as a head coach in 2023 and continued to develop myself as a head coach and play caller. Surrounded myself with great coaches and people.
