So let me get this right. The U.S. can decide who pays for access through the Strait of Hormuz, but Iran and Oman are told they have no say over waters at their own doorstep? Trump can do one. The Strait of Hormuz is not America's private highway, and the rules of international waters cannot be applied only when they serve Washington's interests.
