Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos says BARBIE and OPPENHEIMER would have been just as big on Netflix. “There’s no reason to believe that the movie itself is better in any size of screen for all people. My son’s an editor, he watched ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ on his phone.” via @nytimes

Walton Goggins has zero interest in playing the #Fallout games 🎮 "I won't play them. I'm not interested" He thinks playing them will break his immersion with the world "All of a sudden, I'm looking at this world from a very different perspective ... as something on a screen ... I believe The Ghoul exists in the world ... The best way that I can serve the fans of this game is to go to work every single day and believe the circumstances that I'm presented with" (via @PCGamer)

In “The Passion of the Christ (2004)” there is a chilling scene where Satan is shown holding a creepy, adult-looking baby while Jesus is being whipped. Mel Gibson explained that the scene is meant to be a perversion of the Madonna and Child, symbolizing a twisted mockery of purity and innocence. While the Virgin Mary suffers watching her Son endure torture, Satan mockingly imitates her by parading a demonic child through the crowd. The scene’s message is that Satan, who is pure evil, cares for his own child, while God seems to have “abandoned” His Son to suffer alone.
