Idk - a 10 YO weighing 258 lbs is pretty absurd. Like the annual mortality of that particular BMI has to be at least single digits percent, even in kids . Not talked to any KOLs re this one and have a very small $SLNO position but not really convinced 2 deaths out of 850 active patients in a year of launch is really beyond the norm for this disease. These are 10 year olds that are the size of a fully obese ADULT MALE!!??

The Weekly 🌱 New: Increased: $lqda , $anl Unchanged: $nxtc , $ovid , $slno , $cntx , $pasg , $rytm , $abvx, $tern Decreased: $cmps , $dawn , $nktr Closed: Sorry just getting around to this. Decent week, after a quiet start to the year, things looking good since week 2 of Jan. I mean $abvx being up 20 or so % definitely helps from lows and then $cmps fared nicely post data…. Good to have another data win after $nktr not too long ago. I had a ton of puts I shorted across various names and somehow they were all okay in the end despite the volatile week. $Lqda has traded terribly been one of the disappointing names esp after double downing it when it randomly traded down the other day on no news. I’m a little bit wary going into next week with all the uncertainty around. I do have a ton of other things going on simultaneously outside investing so may not be the worst thing to just take it easy for the next week or so. In terms of what’s coming up? I do expect $goss to fail like many other folk. Then I am waiting for an opportunity to add $wve , buy back $cogt and add more $tern. $avbp should be soon too but tough to predict. $qure remains on the do not touch list. $crvs continues to bleed, what a good short it was, makes me very happy that I was right so emphatically. What happened to M&A btw? It’s been SO quiet. Either there’s a ton of stuff brewing or BP have just said no to doing deals till the valuations come down a little. Probably the former. Hopefully the former!! $xbi give us some deals.. would love for $abvx to get taken out. Anyways, thank you reading. Hopefully some more good days on the horizon.

• weekly commentary • hedge fund returns update • big no show news re Miami conferences Back to the old format since not many moves made this past week. $crvs -20% and $apge -15% on the shorts, saving the week for me since everything else has been weak. It’s been tough. $Lqda probably only other shining light. Puts for feb still jacked , market still expecting legal news imminently. I did cover $apge today to free up some margin. $crvs think itll settle high teens not sure what the next catalyst that drives the stock up is, esp now momentum and hype has died. I had a bad time shorting towards the back of 2025, but glad to be able to turn things around. I will say this though I found out recently that smart people added on the day of data, better to not be on the opposite side of their bets BUT for now I am right $nktr r/r is incredibly favourable here going into the readout and post $amgn OX40 news today. The narrative will shift and the cash concerns will be addressed imho. I think it could be time to start buying $wve $ptgx add more $cogt $ovid Q1 catalysts I’m bullish $cmps $nktr and bearish $goss $ctmx and $ocul (another one I got stick for but so far on the right side of sentiment) I wanna go back into $prax Edelman likes it even at these levels. I’m sad I didn’t short $pvla in the end. I think valuation shorts are back $inbx I’m going to start to press in Feb. Another co I’m going to start shorting is $mbx , the M&A hype seems to be dying across the board. BP don’t seem to want to pay up at these levels. $azn just bought 8 long acting peptides for the price of 1 $mbx $gpcr and $mbx both could be topping around here imho. $abvx is holding up a lot of my activity that I mentioned above in the market. I’m definitely oversized but confident that even if I do nothing this name alone can significantly increase my account value by the end of the year. PATIENCE Lastly, almost done with 2025 hedge fund returns. Still working on a few names , it’ll be the most complete list till date. Possibly over 60 hedge funds ranked top to bottom. Teaser: nearly half of the specialist funds underperformed the index $xbi . And there were some triple digit returns. AND a fund had negative 2025 returns too…. Lastly, $tern just dropped out from the Miami conferences .. watch this space could be a blockbuster M&A in AML space.

If we get some M&A , I think the flow could possibly return to the consensus names. Also, the month of January over the past 5 years has had some big runs but things reigned in following those runs , so I do expect some pullback in the second half of the quarter. Having said that, I still believe everything in my portfolio is undervalued so broader pullbacks don’t concern or bother me. Adds from earlier this month all looking good $asnd $lqda and $dawn have all been running and im glad for $dawn market finally giving their solid onco launch the respect it deserves. Same with $lqda , if you can set the court case aside, and focus on the fundamentals , remains a no brainer long. I will be sharing a very in depth short on $CRVS and I am certain when you guys read it , it will be impactful. I’ve already shared it with a few across the street and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. So I expect next week , the euphoria to die out. I bought $nktr on the back of $sny data, I’m going to try to find time with mgmt see if there’s a way forward on financing. Let’s see, if even nothing comes out of it, Rezpeg deserves more value than it’s being given right now. $slno has been very frustrating, scripts last week were up a little and the next 6-8 weeks are crucial. If the mgmt are unable to turn the momentum re start forms around by next earnings then I’m out. $abvx abstracts look good, safety even more comfort on that end. I’ve been adding this week. Anyways, I prayed a lot for my port, which I assume shall reflect on the positions that many of my followers also hold. Strap in month 1 almost done , 11 more to go.

@jrouldz Plus they acquired a "a market intelligence business" and did not disclose what that is. To me it looks like they are trying to mask that their qc business is not growing by the desired rate, if at all yet

@jrouldz Yea true, but how much of that is organic qc growth vs inorganic. They did not disclose that, which is a red flag for me. By my estimates they would've missed this q if it wasn't for all the acquisitions. And another point is that their operational expenses are rising a lot
