The men and women of #PelhamPD are mourning the loss of Officer Juan Gomez, an eleven-year veteran of the department. Officer Gomez, age 39, was hospitalized due to COVID-19 August 6th. His watch ended Saturday morning, August 14th. He leaves behind his wife and two children.

We have reports of tree and power line damage in the following areas of the city. Mount Olive Road, Avon Circle, North Road, Vann Drive, Brenda Circle, Beasley Road, Decatur Highway, Snow Roger's Road, Shady Grove Road at Mount Olive Road. Please stay clear of these areas.

Gardendale Police have obtained warrants on Jackie Ballentine for Robbery 1st $250,000 for 2019 case and Robbery 3rd $250,000 for 2016 case. Good work to all agencies involved.
