@jonawils It's one heck of a cricket scorecard too. Not sure if there running between the wickets was good or bad, but some bookmaker out there was definitely in a for bumper day & an extra few pieces of silver

What a game of rugby. What a comeback from the @Springboks and also from the fans. We saw everything at Loftus today. Our beloved team, a non-performer pulled off at half-time, new caps, experience, an unbelievable comeback and the customary fight in the stands.

@FirdoseM They do have a local office and someone who worked at CSA for a long time in that office. It is an interesting partnership. It might bring a bit of pizzazz and something for sponsors to hook on to. That said, if the boardroom doesn't sort itself out, then SA Cricket goes nowhere.

Personally, I feel cricket is a challenging space for a company that doesn't know the game, because it is so niched. Maybe that's part of the problem. It's too stuck in the past?
I still feel corporatising everything isn't the answer. But in 2022, maybe it is.

@FirdoseM Oh yes, that's right. 2008, JP and immortality. Its a great tour and the teams should be fairly well-matched and competitive. Be interested to see how SA go with this amount of time on the road - England and Aus all within a couple of months.

@GarethFlusk So this was negotiated at the last FTP discussions and written about at the time. After the move not to tour Aus over the festive, led by Gerald Majola, CSA changed its mind and decided they would tour at that time again. Last time was JP's tour in 2008. Would be amazing to go!

@FirdoseM Really sad story @FirdoseM . As @GabrielaP28 said when my Dad passed away in 2001. @VickerstownCC helped me get home for the funeral. Great community spirit & it taught me a lesson of caring & compassion. England is welcoming in so many respects - but some people do ruin it.
