I’ve had a real ‘pinch me’ moment today. It’s such a long waiting game in the PB publishing world but it’s SO worth it. Illustrators are absolute geniuses and I’m completely in awe of their talent 😍

Yesterday I learned that in the 1980s a dominant female orca started wearing a dead salmon as a hat. Soon the entire pod was wearing dead salmon hats. And other pods joined in too. Then a few weeks later they were totally over it and stopped. The ‘80s was some decade.
