My latest piece explains how the original "Military Industrial Complex" has morphed into something much more frightening -- a Permanent War State in which the political power of a drone contractor is a crucial factor. bit.ly/2QNd1fv

@iang_fc @countersources @TheEconomist You haven't responded to the larger point that no one has ever challenged the evidence that I documented in detail in my 2014 book that Iran never intended to make a nuclear weapon, because TWO Supreme Leaders forbade it on Islamic religious principle.

@SeesClarity @TrackAIPAC @joshforprogress @JoshShapiroPA Every individual in the world with the knowledge of Israeli genocidal crimes as documented in this horrific list must do his/her part to complete the task of making Israel a complele pariah state -- and to stigmatize any reponsible public officials who refuse to do so.

For the record, I have never been involved with WMDs or any nuclear or that matter in Iran, but I have researched the topic extensively, and notably there is no serious evidence of a WMD Program. The Supreme Leader who was just murdered by the USA was actually opposed to it and on numerous occasions upheld the Fatwa forbidding both Chemical and Nuclear Weapons. Chemical Weapons in particular are a sensitive issue in Iran, because during the Iran-Iraq War they were he largest population since WW1 that has been subjected to them. See my interview below with @GarethPorter on it. hkrugertjie.substack.com/p/the-history-…

@ElRalphing @LVADMatt Iran has raised its level of enrichment to 60% in the past as a political-diplomatic response to political-military threats -- as a form of pressure on the U.S. to back off. But it was NOT followed by enrichment to weapons grade (90%). sipri.org/commentary/ess…

@GarethPorter @LVADMatt So why enrich uranium up to 60%? All reports I’ve seen have said that’s higher than Iran has any use for in peaceful applications.

Wonder how long the United States has been accusing Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons? Believe it or not last Saturday was the 30th anniversary of the first such U.S. accusation by CIA Director John M. Deutsch on March 20, 1996, without any real evidence to support it.

@countersources @iang_fc @TheEconomist So no need for evidence for the official claim or to examine the evidence that I have amassed and published over a decade of research and reporting on the subject -- none of which has ever been challenged?

@GarethPorter You don’t consider the IAEA inspector reports to be real evidence? What about the Iranian negotiators stated position when Trump was trying to get a deal to avoid a war? That wasn’t real evidence either? cbsnews.com/news/trump-ste…

@scotthortonshow @EricBrakey People may be interested to know that the editor at Foreign Policy who published this article was given serious grief by the powers that be about his decision to publish. The national security elite is vey touchy about this subject.

As I understand it from listening to @scotthortonshow and his guests, Ayatollah Khamenei was a powerful force in Iran against the country developing nuclear weapons — because he declared it in violation of the Islamic faith. I wonder if the next guy will share that belief.

@liam_mcknight @scotthortonshow Iran had serious religious rules forbidding nuclear weapons, which were already explicitly laid down by the Supreme Leader before they began to obtain technology for a nuclear program. And they didn't believe they needed them to defend themselves.

@LVADMatt Centrifuges can be used for peaceful nuclear purposes as well as for nuclear weapons.

@Bot1397642 Sorry, but none of this is relevant to the sordid history of the U.S.-Israeli allegation of an Iranian nuclear weapons program, which I detailed in my book "Manufactured Crisis" (2014).

If Iran was developing a UAР program, it would be classified under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954. Maybe the evidence was classified under nuclear secrecy, which the presidents or DoD don't even have access to. I only say that because we've had over 40 credible whistle-blowers and 3 congressional hearings in the last 3 years exposing a hidden cold war occurring sub risa between near-peers to retrieve and reverse-engineer UAРs, which has all been covered-up like Epstein for over 80 years......... So some of the whistle-blowers have said that some of the craft🛸 in our possession came from ancient archaeological sites. "WMD's" in Iraq = Sumerian artifacts = UAР shit... which translates to "nukes" in the public sector. Persian artifacts 🛸

Trump wants to get the Nobel Peace Prize, but he should get the War Criminal of the Year award for his Israeli bootlicking Gaza proposal -- or maybe it should be called the Jeffrey Epstein Prize.
